This year to celebrate Josh's first Father's Day, Emmy and I surprised him with tickets to his favorite baseball team, the Toronto Blue Jays! The closest team they play is the Chicago White Sox, and most everyone knows I'm a die hard Cubs fan. So going to a Sox game is like torture for me, but Josh is more than worth it! :) The day ended up being perfect. We had a great time at the game, enjoyed some tasty Old Chicago pizza, and even went swimming at the hotel. Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there! Especially to my dad, Byron and Josh's dad, Chuck. We are so thankful for the wisdom, guidance and support you continually share with us. We both have learned so much from each of you. And to you Josh, you are an amazing father to our little girl, and someday soon she'll get to tell you so herself. I am so proud to be walking alongside you, as your wife, in this crazy, beautiful life. Thank you for taking such good care of us. Emmy and I love you so very much!
