Weekend w/ Papa & Grandma

This past weekend we spent time at the farm with Papa & Grandma. And while it was still a little cold to play outside much yet, both Emmy and Luke got to help Papa feed the kitties. And we just had fun spending time together. We also got to celebrate a much belated birthday dinner for Sherry and I. Luke absolutely adores his Papa and its so cute to see my dad with him too :) We love you Papa & Grandma and look forward to more fun on the farm this Spring & Summer!

Daddy/Daughter Dance

Emmy and Josh had their first Daddy/Daughter Dance over the weekend and I'm not sure who was more excited, Josh or Emmy!? :) They even went out to dinner beforehand with two other dads and daughters. Here are a few pics of their special night together ❤

Mommy/Daughter Day

Kindergarten Roundup was yesterday and for those students that are already enrolled in Lapel's Pre-K program, their parents got to come in for a special program. So I got to go to school with Emmy!! She was so excited to show me her cubby, where she sits, projects they've been working on, etc. And then us parents had a meeting to fill out all the paperwork for Kindergarten (is my little girl really going to Kindergarten already?!?) The best part is we got to take our kids home with us after the program!! So Emmy and I had a special Mommy/Daughter day together....and I will remember it always. We promised each other we will do this every year, at least once, from now until forever :) She had been asking me about going to get our nails done together, since she had never had that done before and thought that would be fun to do together. So we we went and did that, went to a super fun, fancy lunch at the Cake Bake Shop, stopped at a local toy store, played at a park and then checked out a local play place called the Urban Chalkboard. We had a ball together!! I love you Emmy Jane, my strong, beautiful, kind, and courageous girl!!! Always and forever my dear girl ❤

"Fancy Dance"

Last Friday night Emmy and I were given the opportunity to attend a fundraising event for Riley that mirrored "Dancing with the Stars". It was even held at the Indiana Roof Ballroom!! She was SO excited to go to a "fancy dance" and I was just as excited to have her as my date :) Here are a few pics from the amazing evening!!!
