Springtime!!

Spring Break 2018

For Spring Break again this year, our entire Strange family (all 11 of us!) traveled together to Florida!! This year we decided to try Destin. And it was absolutely perfect! Perfect accommodations and absolutely perfect weather. We stayed in a house that had 5 bedrooms and three different levels, a heated lagoon-type neighborhood pool, and a short walk or even shorter drive to the beach!! And we all had so much fun together ❤ The kids loved the pool and the beach too. And we got to do so many fun things like a pirate adventure and a dolphin cruise. And since we were gone over Easter we even got to attend a service on the beach and did our own egg hunt in the sand. This was probably one of my most favorite vacations we have all spent together and we could not have asked for more beautiful weather. We usually headed to the beach in the mornings, before the crowds and hot sun then came back to the house for lunch, the little boys all took naps while Colt and Emmy went to the pool. Then at night we either headed out to enjoy one of the many tasty restaurants in Destin or stayed in for a homecooked meal. Thank you Chuck & Sue for such an amazing Christmas present! We truly enjoyed all being together in such a beautiful place making such wonderful memories!!

God's Watering Can

This morning when we left for dance class it happened to be raining... As we pulled out of the drive I pointed out Emmy's daffodils that are blooming along the side of the house. The daffodil was one of my mom's favorite flowers :) Emmy was excited that they were "getting watered" by all the rain. She then asked me if I knew that rain came from the clouds. When I answered yes, she then proceeded to ask, "How do you think God does that?" I laughed and then asked her what she thought. Our sweet girl thought for a minute then smiled and said, "Probably with His watering can" Yes, Emmy Jane, I think you're absolutely right...

Emmy loses her first tooth!!

Yay!!! Emmy Jane lost her first tooth last night and our big, brave girl pulled it out herself!!! You're a Rockstar Em!!! Love you!
