Wrapping up 2019 :)

After some serious technical difficulties this year, I think I've finally got the blog back up and running again for 2020.....hopefully! So here's a recap of our Strange Family Summer and what we've been up to the remainder of 2019 :)

-Emmy won 3 Awards at school at the end of Kindergarten for Art, Sportsmanship, and Citizenship. SO proud of our girl!
-Luke turning 3yrs old!!
-Josh and I taking Emmy to see "The Little Mermaid" at Beef & Boards
-Walking the trails at Mounds State Park
-Great Wolf Lodge!
-Josh and I going to the Riviera Maya to celebrate our 10yr anniversary
-Several trips to the Lake, Zoo, Children's Museum and Papa & Grandma's
-Emmy starting 1st grade and Luke starting Preschool!
-Catching a Cubs game in Cincinnati
-Family trip to Michigan

-Emmy turning 7yrs old!!

-Horseback riding in Brown County

-Emmy as one of the Snowflake Princesses for Fortville's Winterfest Parade

-Luke's 1st Christmas Program...and he even grabbed the microphone during the show! 

-Family wedding in Detroit over Thanksgiving

-Lots of fun together over Christmas!

May Activities & Festivities

May was filled with lots of activites as well as festivities as we wrapped up Spring and welcomed in Summer. From Mother's Day, Emmy's dance recital, Fun on the Farm, to an Indians game with the boys and even a ballet for the girls, the month was filled with FUN! Spring Break Memories

Last month for Spring Break, we headed down to Destin for a second visit. The weather didn't cooperate quite as well this year, and poor Emmy got terribly sick, but we still managed to have a wonderful time away together, all 11 of us! :) It was a bittersweet trip though, one that we will always remember because on the morning we left, we found out that Josh's Grandpa Baker had passed away. With heavy hearts we headed home, sad that Grandpa was gone but also relieved for him that He was truly Home. Here are a few pictures of our precious time together this year on Spring Break....
