FLORIDA-Day 6 & 7

For our last two days, we enjoyed just spending time together. :) We all played putt-putt, which Emmy had never done before and loved. Her and Colt even got to hold an alligator!! Josh and I got to have a date night, as did Justin and Whitney, when Chuck and Sue offered to watch all 5 of the kids for us. And on our last night we all gathered up on the balcony to watch the sunset. Thank you Chuck & Sue for making such a wonderful trip possible!! We love you Grammy & Gramps!!

Emmy waving goodbye to the sun on our last night
Emmy loved getting to "play golf like Daddy"
Feeding the gators!
Getting ready to hold a gator!!
Mining for gems...this was seriously the best mini golf place ever!!!

Josh and I on our date night, we had gone to the beach to catch the sunset. We tried so hard to get a picture but it was so windy! I love how this one turned out though...it's actually one of my new favorite pictures of us ;)
Haha, I just had to share one last picture! This is how Whitney found the kids one night, poor Colt didn't stand a chance if staying in the bed with her sleeping like that! Thankfully by morning they had figured it out and were both back in bed! ;)

FLORIDA-Disney Day!!!!

Since we were only a "short" drive away from Disney we had to take the opportunity to go! It was the hottest day all week but we still had so much fun! We even surprised Emmy with a lunch in Cinderella's castle! The look on her face as she met the different princesses was priceless. And at the end of the night, Josh and I both were left with memories we'll hang on to for a lifetime. Me, holding our tired little boy as he snuggled in to watch his first fireworks show. Josh, holding Emmy and watching her sweet face light up with wonderment as Tinkerbell flew across the night sky. Both of us feeling so blessed for these memories...so blessed for the life we've been given.

The whole family in front of the castle

This was our picture at Splash Mountain, Emmy's 1st big ride! She loved it and was so brave. Her and Colt were both giggling the entire ride!
Lunch at Cinderella's castle
Emmy and Jasmine
Emmy and Sleeping Beauty
The kids all loved playing in the indoor playground at Dumbo's circus tent
Emmy and Grammy riding Dumbo
Emmy posing in front of Cinderella's glass slipper
Emmy loved spinning with Cinderella....
And she had dressed like Elena so was thrilled to meet her too!!
These two cousins had so much fun together!

FLORIDA-Day 3 & 4

On these days we headed in to Clearwater for family pictures on the beach (a present for Sue from us kids) and to visit with friends from Lapel who invited us over to enjoy the pool and beach at their condo. We all had so much fun!! This was Luke's first time in the pool and he loved it! All of the pool and beach pics are on Chuck's camera so I'll try and add more of those later! ;)

The kids were able to fish right off of our dock in the backyard!!
It was SO windy for our pictures but we still had fun and cannot wait to see the ones the photographer took!!
I absolutely loved watching Emmy and Josh play in the waves
The photographer said the best lighting would be at dusk which was after Beau, Judd and Luke's bedtime so we had 3 sleepy boys, haha!

FLORIDA-Day 1 & 2

For Spring Break this year, Josh's parents surprised us and Justin & Whitney with a family vacation to Florida! We got to spend a whole week in Hudson, which is a little town not far from Clearwater. The house was huge so all 11 of us had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the week together. And I have so many pictures and memories to share I thought I would spread it out over several posts and several days.....so here we go!!!

Day 1

After the long car ride, the kids were so excited to be free!! And to check out the house of course!

Day 2
While the "big" boys all went on a deep sea fishing trip, the little guys and us girls found a park to play and have a picnic.

Luke's first haircut

So Josh and I have been noticing for awhile that our sweet boy needed a haircut but this was definitely new territory for us with him being so young. Emmy didn't even have hair until she was almost 2 and we didn't have it cut until she was 2 1/2! But Luke on the other hand, his hair was almost halfway over his ears, haha! So, we took him last night and he did great, and so did the stylist! He sat "still" until the very end but she was able to finish it without giving him an accidental buzz cut :) Here are some cute pics of the big event!

Check out my new do'!
Doesn't he just look like such a little man?!
*Before pic
(The little car was definitely a much needed distraction!)

How priceless is this face???
All done!

9 months!!

Today we had Luke's 9 month check up with the Dr and the whole time driving there I kept thinking....how can our boy be 9 months old already??!! :) Sigh...it truly is crazy how fast the time goes. Here are his numbers from today and a few fun things he's been doing this month!!

Weight: 22.8 lbs. 90%
Height: 30 in. 95%

-Crawling everywhere!!! (And getting into trouble of course!)
-Saying da-da and ma-ma (and yes, Josh like to rub it in that he said da-da first! ;)
-Eating table food, so far there isn't anything this boy won't eat!
-Wearing 12-18 m clothes
-5 teeth!!
-Belly laughs (one of the best sounds in the whole world)

Our silly boy :)
Enjoying his 1st pancake
You can't see this in the picture but he's just about to grab one of his sister's toys, hence the sneaky look, haha!
Luke loves feeding himself...and also doing his hair afterwards!
