Tiny Dancer

Last month Emmy had her 2nd dance recital and she and her class even made it through BOTH shows this year! She was absolutely exhausted by the end of the night! But she had a ball and cannot wait to start classes again in the Fall! Way to go Emmy Jane, we are so proud of you our Tiny Dancer!!! Love you!!!

Last week our sweet boy turned 2....I just cannot believe how fast they are both growing up!! Here are a few fun pictures of his birthday party, which we moved to Chuck & Sue's church basement due to rain, and of his actual birthday. Happy Birthday Lucas Ray! Happy Father's Day Daddy!!

To celebrate her Daddy this year, Emmy planned Father's Day herself :) Our weekend of fun included the four of us going to the movies to see Incredibles 2, playing in the sprinkler together, lunch at our favorite Italian restaurant, Michelangelo's, and going for a bike ride through town that ended at Ice Cream Plus :) And tomorrow we're headed to the Zoo! We love you Daddy and hope you had a fun Father's Day weekend!!!

Soccer ⚽

Emmy loved playing soccer again this Spring. That girl ran her little heart out! And she really enjoyed playing goalie this season too!! With those long arms and legs it was tough to get one past her! 

And one of Emmy's classmates, Mackenzie, was on her team!

Last day of Pre-K!

Emmy finished up her last day of Pre-K this week so that means......Kindergarten here we come!!!!!! :)

Mother's Day Fun

For Mother's Day this year......I had absolutely the best day ever! It started with getting to sleep in, (yay!) Josh making breakfast for us, (and he even made me my favorite-blueberry pancakes!) And then after church he and the kids surprised me with a picnic in the park! Emmy was so proud that she kept the secret so long. And then after our picnic we fed the ducks, played on the playground, walked a little trail and ended up cooling our feet at the falls. We then went to our favorite local spot for flowers and Emmy and I picked out the most beautiful flowers to plant outside (and a very pretty hanging basket) We ended the day over at Justin & Whitney's where we celebrated with the entire family. The kids played outside in the sprinkler, and the guys cooked an amazing meal! What a perfect day! Thank you Josh, Emily & Luke for making me feel so special, not just today, but every single day! I love you all SO much and am so proud to be your Wife & Mommy!! ❤

Oh Stitches....

Last weekend we had our first trip to the ER with Luke....hopefully not our first of many! :) He tripped and fell and split open his chin which required just 2 stitches thankfully. He did so well with both getting them in and taken out. Below are a few pictures with his stitches and the last three are the day he got them out. His big smiles just crack me up! Way to go Brave Boy!!!!
