Cracker Barrel Memories :)

Over the years we have met Papa & Grandma numerous times in Lafayette. It's a great halfway point for us both to celebrate birthdays or just an excuse to get together for lunch/dinner together. And we always seem to end up at Cracker Barrel, it's even a given now. We enjoy the food, and especially the rocking chairs out front where we can visit and play together before getting back on the road. And I love that the kids will have these special memories with Papa & Grandma :) Here are a few pics from our most recent Cracker Barrel get together ❤

Daddy/Daughter Dance

Emmy and Josh had their Daddy/Daughter Dance this weekend and they had SO much fun! They even got to go out to dinner first with a group of 6 other little girls and their daddys :) Here are a few pics from their big night out together ❤

Flying by!!

Whoa!!! Where did these first few months of the year go?!?! Well before summer is here ;) I thought I better update the blog with our many activities/happenings.....
-Emmy & Luke both did 6 weeks of swimming lessons at Anderson University and LOVED it
-We got to play in the snow!!!!! But now we're ready for SPRING!
-For Colt's birthday we got him tickets for the Pacers/Warriors game and he even got his hat signed by Stephen Curry, so cool!!!
-Emmy has now lost 5 teeth and soon to be 6! ;)
-Emmy is still enjoying dance and preparing for her recital in May. She is also in gymnastics and thoroughly enjoying learning how to do cartwheels, handstands, and spending time on the beam and bars
-Luke unfortunately battled weeks of ear infections over the winter, yuck!
-We enrolled Luke in Preschool a few days a week starting this Fall and he is so excited to "go school too!"

Christmas Break Recap :)

Wow! December flew by for us this year!! I can't even believe how much fun we were able to have this month, on top of the usual Christmas festivities! Here are just a few of the highlights: Traveling to French Lick with Grammy & Gramps and Justin, Whitney and the boys for the Polar Express, taking the kids to see Disney on Ice, all four of us enjoying a movie on the big screen together, dogsitting for Lacy & Melvin, ringing in the new year with the Erwin clan and transitioning Luke into his big boy bed! And I should mention a crazy thing that happened too....3 more stitches for Luke :( Our poor little guy fell again, and split open the same spot under his chin, only deeper and wider this time. Sigh! But overall the month was incredible, as we were able to spend so much time enjoying friends, family and each other this holiday season.

Emmy's 1st Christmas Program

This past week, Kindergarten & 2nd Grade put on a Christmas program together. So that meant we got to see Emmy & Colt perform on the same night! She was so excited for the big show....and so we're we! It turned out so cute and the kids all had so much fun. Here are a few pics from the big night, her very 1st Christmas Program!!!

Friday Night Lights

Our Lapel Bulldogs made school history Friday night when they became back to back Sectional Champs!!!! Woo hoo!!! It was honestly one of the best high school football games I had ever seen! It was CrAzY exciting and we ended up winning in overtime by 1 point, 42-41!!! And now we move on to host the Regional at home this coming Friday night!

We are so proud of you Josh, all your hard work this season has truly paid off for these boys. We love you Coach, and are definitely three of your biggest fans :) ❤🏈
