Say Cheese!

Last month we had one of my friends from work take Emmy's 9 month pictures. We went to Holcomb Gardens at Butler University and they turned out so well! Thank you Shannon for doing such an amazing job capturing our little Emmy's sweet personality! :)

Zoo!

On Sunday we had the opportunity to go to the Indianapolis Zoo with Melvin, Lacy and Grayson. It was our first trip to the zoo as a family and we had so much fun! As you'll see we road the train, the merry-go-round and even caught the dolphin show. We got to see a lot of animals but I think Emmy's favorite part was riding in the wagon with Grayson. But I'm not so sure he would agree. Poor guy, Emmy kept stealing his toys and his sippy cup! I think we have a little thief on our hands! Afterwards we stopped by Red Robin for a quick bite to eat and Emmy devoured her lunch. She loves to feed herself now so it was literally ALL over her and loved every second of it! It was the perfect end to a great day. Thank you Lacy, Melvin and Grayson for such a fun day, we love you guys!!

Daddy's Little Girl

Josh went back to school this week, and this year heading back was bittersweet for him. While he was off for the summer he took care of Emmy on the days I worked. I know they will both miss the extra time they got to spend together. The two of them had so much fun! She is definitely a Daddy's girl, and Josh just loves it! Thank you Josh, for taking such great care of our little girl!

Wedding Weekend!

This weekend we went to my cousin Kayla's wedding here in Indy. It seems like just yesterday my cousin Lacy and I were train holders for Kayla's parents when they got married. Kayla looked absolutely stunning and it was such a wonderful day! We had such a good time catching up with family. The reception happened to be just down the road from our house so a bunch of the family stopped over between the wedding and reception. It made me so proud to have my King family in our neck of the woods. I miss them all so much and treasure the time we spend together. And Emmy loved all the extra attention! At the end of the night, she was still going strong ready to dance and play! :)

Congratulations Alex & Kayla! We love you both!

Happy Birthday Josh!

This weekend we celebrated Josh's birthday at the lake with his family.  It was so nice to all be together and celebrate someone we love so very much. Josh, you truly are a wonderful man, loving husband and caring father...and Emmy and I are so proud to be "your girls" :) Happy Birthday My Love!

Just had to share!

Back in April, we attended the wedding of one of my co-workers, Krista. Another one of my co-workers and friends, Melissa, took some really great pictures of Emmy! She gave me a copy of the pics this week so I couldn't resist sharing them with all of you! Enjoy!

Thank you Mel for the pictures and for your dear friendship!
