Season of Change

Things have been pretty crazy around here for us these past few months and that is because we have had some very significant changes in our lives. After 15 years at Mt. Vernon, Josh decided to take a job in his hometown of Lapel. He's now teaching 3 different High School classes, (World History, World Geography, & Psychology) coaching football and possibly even the head coach for golf! He is so extremely busy!!! And did I mention we just moved too?!? :) We found a great house in Lapel that needed a little love and will be perfect for us as Emmy grows up. We love it. Everything happened SO fast that our heads are still spinning a bit but we trust the Lord and know this is where He wants and needs us to be. Emmy loves the new house, she even has a playroom now! Here's a couple pictures of her playing in it.....FYI, in the one picture she's trying to put a pair of her swim shorts on over her other shorts. The little stinker got them on too! :)

Best Buds :)

These two just couldn't be any sweeter together. Colt is such a great cousin....and friend to our Emmy, we are so thankful for the relationship they already have. We love you Colt William!

Quarantined!

Despite being diagnosed with Hand, Foot & Mouth disease yesterday, Emmy still wanted to play dress up this morning. :) Here she is in her Snow White dress and then her tutu. The last picture is a close up of the bottom of her feet. One of them is worse than the other and she also has spots/blisters covering the palms of her hands, inside her mouth and on her tongue and also all over the back of her legs and bottom. :( But from what we've heard, she has a very mild case so we are hoping it doesn't get any worse for her. She is such a trooper though! I am so thankful she is still wanting to play despite the pain she's in. We are definitely trying to make the most of our time being quarantined in the house. The doctor said that she shouldn't be around other children for the next 7 days but Josh and I are keeping her away from everyone but the two of us, just to be safe. This stuff is super contagious but so far we haven't found any spots on us and hopefully it will stay that way!

Chuck E. Cheese & Minnie Mouse

The first picture is of Emmy in Minnie Mouse ears and gloves, playing at Colt's house. Aunt Whitney snapped this picture, so cute! And then this past week we had the opportunity to go to Chuck E. Cheese with Grammy and Colt. This was Emmy's first time and she had so much fun! And so did we, thanks Grammy!

Emmy loved all the rides!!!!
Isn't it funny how she's looking right at Bob? :)
