Happy Thanksgiving!

This year we were able to spend Thanksgiving with our King family and we had so much fun eating, sharing and visiting together. And Emmy loved getting to play with her cousins. We are so thankful that Josh and I both have such big families, so many people that love our Emmy Jane! Here are a few pictures from our special Turkey Day!

"No, Gorgeous!"

A few weeks ago Josh's family from Texas was in town and we were able to spend lots of extra time together. Well while Aunt Teresa was here she taught Emmy to say that she was a "gorgeous" girl. So now anytime you tell her she's funny, cute, etc she says, "No, gorgeous!" Right after I took this picture of her I told her how cute she looked in her hat...you can only guess what she said to correct me! ;)

Weekend in Chicago

This month marks our 5 yr wedding anniversary and we were so blessed to get to spend a weekend away together to celebrate. My step-sister Sara, and her family let us use their condo in downtown Chicago while Emmy stayed with my dad and Sherry. It was an amazing weekend and we had so much fun together. And Emmy, of course, had such a good time with Papa & Grandma. And by all the stories that were shared, I think Dad and Sherry sure did too! They were already asking when we'd be going away again so she could come back and stay!  :)

P-A-R-T-Y!!!

This year we were fortunate to have Emmy's 2nd birthday party at our new house! It was a little chilly and rainy again, but thankfully we all still managed to cram into our house and celebrate Little Miss Emily Jane. :) We were so thankful that family drove so far to be with her, and for all the help so many people gave us, we love you guys! Here are a few pictures from her party, and then a few of the three of us celebrating on her actual birthday!

Again this Fall, we were fortunate to have my friend from Riley, Shannon Arch, take Emmy's pictures. As always, we were more than pleased with how they turned out! Shannon has such a way of capturing Emmy's sweet but mischevious personality. :) Enjoy a few of our favorites!

Emily Jane turns 2!!!

Sigh...last night when we laid Emmy down I couldn't help but blurt out "I can't believe this is the last night you're going to be one!" I know, I sound like a crazy mom, but I just can't believe she is Two....Years....Old! What a fun-filled two years it has been and I am so excited to see what God has planned for our precious daughter next. Happy Birthday Emily Jane, your daddy and I love you so much and are very proud of you!
