Happy (belated) Birthday Gramps!

For Josh's dad's birthday last month, we went to PF Chang's and had so much fun! Emmy had her first experience with chopsticks and it was hilarious to watch her! It was a great evening to get to celebrate someone so special! Happy Birthday Gramps, we love you!!

Sun, Sand and...Pink Eye!

For Spring Break this year we were fortunate enough to be asked to travel with the Kemerly's to Daytona Beach. The weather was absolutely perfect and we had a great time...despite all three of us getting terribly sick and ending up with pink eye! It...was...awful! But all totally worth it, especially for those precious first moments when Emmy saw the ocean and felt the sand beneath her feet for the first time. Absolutely priceless :) 

I've had trouble loading our camera pictures onto the computer so here are a few we took with our phones and I'll try and add the ones from our camera soon!

Emmy's Beauty Shop

Ever since her first haircut, Emmy LOVES doing everyone's hair, even Daddy's. Today, Miss Carol sent this super cute picture of Emmy playing with another little girl's hair at school too :)

So I know she's almost 2.5 yrs old, but our sweet girl has just now gotten to the point where she finally has enough hair to cut! :) So the three of us went tonight to get her first hair cut and she did great! We even got to celebrate with a little ice cream afterwards!

Spring is here!

We have LOVED the warmer temperatures recently and are so excited for Spring!!! We have gone for wagon rides every night since it warmed up; around the neighborhood, to the playground and even for some ice cream! 

We had so much fun playing at the playground at the school, and it is so nice to be close enough to WALK there!

Weekend in Rochester

This past weekend we traveled to Rochester to see Lauri, Jesse, their sweet little girl Alice (they're also expecting twins in the next few months!) and two other dear friends, Grace and Mary. It was so nice to finally have the opportunity to catch up with my girls! Emmy just adored Alice and was wanting to be her "big helper" all weekend. She was constantly trying to hug her and give her kisses :) Here are a few pics of them together...
