Build-a-Bear Workshop

While celebrating Father's Day this weekend we had the opportunity to use a gift card Emmy had been given to the Build-a-Bear workshop. Neither Josh or I had ever done this before so the three of us had so much fun making our first bear. Emmy picked out which one she wanted, the outfit and loved helping to stuff it and then give it a "bath". She held on tight to her new friend all the way through the mall, and into the parking lot until we were safe in the car. She was so careful not to drop her and she hasn't left her side since. :)

Happy Father's Day

We had so much fun celebrating all our dads this year. We spent time with my dad, Josh's dad, and of course, Emmy had time with her dad too. :) We love and appreciate each of you and are blessed to have you in our lives. Happy Father's Day!

1st Swim Lesson!!

Now that Josh is on summer break we thought we would go ahead and start Emmy in her swimming lessons! She got a gift certificate from Grammy & Gramps for Christmas and she has been SO excited to start! And she did awesome! They had told us to come prepared to get in the water with her, just in case. But we didn't need to at all, she was ready! We're so proud of our little fishy! :)

Trip to the Zoo

Last Saturday we had the chance to spend the morning at the Indianapolis Zoo. We hadn't been there yet since the weather had warmed up and we had so much fun! Here are a few of our favorites from the day!

Mother's Day 2015

Emmy and Josh planned such a great Mother's Day for me! It started with cards and a picture Emmy drew for me and a beautiful hanging basket of flowers! Then we headed to brunch at Granite City and off to the Children's Museum. We had so much fun! Later that night we got to celebrate with Josh's mom and his whole family. Such a wonderful day! Thank you both for making me feel so special!

12 years....how can it possibly be? I love you Mom...and miss you more than ever....

Happy (belated) Birthday Gramps!

For Josh's dad's birthday last month, we went to PF Chang's and had so much fun! Emmy had her first experience with chopsticks and it was hilarious to watch her! It was a great evening to get to celebrate someone so special! Happy Birthday Gramps, we love you!!
