Happy Halloween!!!

Here are our two little trick-or-treaters ready for a night of fun! Emmy was Princess Sofia and Luke was an elephant, so cute!!! :)

Luke's Baby Dedication

Today was a very special day for us....it was Baby Dedication Sunday at our church! And together, with many other parents in the church we were able to share in the joy of our new babies as we dedicated them to the church. Our pastor, Tyson, shared that Luke's name meant "Giver of Light" and he prayed with us that Luke would bring Light everywhere he goes in life. And we know that our dear boy will do just that. :) We love you Lucas Ray and are so proud of you, our precious son. We are so excited to watch you grow into a young man, as well as grow in your faith as you learn for yourself what it means to be loved by God. And as your parents we will do our very best to show you the love of the Lord each and every day.

Be Strong, Be Brave Little One.....for God will always be by your side, always have your back, and always be your biggest fan. We love you Luke and are so grateful God Gave Us You!

Picking corn w/ Papa

Emmy has been asking for weeks to go "farmin' w/ Papa" and today we were finally able to do just that. And it was a perfect day to be in the field! Grandma made a picnic lunch for us and then Emmy could not wait to get in the combine. Even little Luke got to have his first ride with Papa. I have so many memories of riding with my dad when I was little, so it makes my heart happy that my own kids get to share these special moments with him too. Thank you Papa and Grandma for such a wonderful, memorable day!

Zoo Boo!

4 yrs and 4 months

Emmy and Luke both had check-ups with their pediatrician yesterday. Emmy had her 4yr appt and Luke his 4 month. :) Here are the stats on both of them, and boy have they grown!

Emmy

42 lbs and 42 in (both in the 89%) She grew 4 inches since last year!!

Luke

Weight: 18.45 lbs - 95% 

Length: 27.5 in - 98%

He gained 4 lbs and grew almost 2 inches in the last two months!!!
